AS9100 Aerospace
Quality System Standard Overview
AS9100 is an international aerospace standard for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing. This standard has been endorsed by all major Aerospace regulators, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The purpose of AS9100 has been to standardize the quality system requirements of the aerospace industry which can result in cost savings due to the elimination or reduction of unique requirements developed for each different customer. This 1-day session is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the AS9100 quality system standard. The Participants to this session are expected to develop an understanding of the key differences between the AS9100 and ISO standards, and be able to establish gaps between systems that currently meet ISO 9001:2000, but are targeted for AS9100 certification. The discussions in this course will include the useful information on how AS9100 implementation can add value to the business and increase customer satisfaction. Topics of Discussions:
